About Schellnhof
Forsthof Schellnhof, a pretty location near Schotten-Einartshausen on the edge of the Vogelsberg in Hessen, is located right on the edge of the forest. There is a main house with two apartments and another cottage with an apartment which is currently being renovated. The place is idyllic pure. The area is characterized by the hilly landscape of the Vogelsberg and offers wonderful opportunities for walking or hiking. Recreational activities, such as golf, tennis, surfing, sailing, etc. are in the immediate vicinity. There is a summer toboggan run, a high ropes course, and a bird park nearby.
The apartments
There are two apartments which consist of three bedrooms, two with double beds and one with two single beds. In a cozy living and dining area, there is seating for six people, sofas, and a TV. Furthermore, there is a bathroom with a toilet and a wonderful new kitchen. The whole house is newly renovated.
Guest access
Outside there is a pavilion with BBQ. If there are other guest apartments rented on the farm, please coordinate the use of the barbecue with each other. The same applies to the fireplace, a football and Badminton rackets.
Jagdhaus
The hunting lodge on the Schellnhof is newly renovated and impresses with its enchanting location in the middle of nature on the edge of the forest at the foot of the Vogelsberg near Schotten-Einartshausen, about 1 hour from Frankfurt.
The hunting lodge consists of three bedrooms, two with double beds and one with two single beds. There is a dining table and six chairs in a cozy living-dining area with a fireplace. There is also a bathroom and a guest toilet as well as a wonderful new kitchen.
There are two more apartments in the forester’s house opposite, each for 6 guests, so that a group of up to 18 people can stay there.

Wir haben mit der Familie (drei Generationen) wunderbare und sehr erholsame Tage auf dem Schellnhof verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe fürs Detail eingerichtet. Sehr schön ist der Essbereich mit Esstisch, der durch das offene Fachwerk mit dem gemütlichen Wohnzimmer verbunden ist.
Wir hatten zwei wunderbare Tage auf dem Schellnhof! Das Haus ist frisch renoviert und sehr hochwertig und modern eingerichtet. Der Hof und die gesamte Anlage ist top gepflegt! Albrecht und Enrico als Gastgeber sind sehr aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und unheimlich nett. Die Feuerstelle + der Grillplatz waren das absolute Highlight! Wir kommen zu 1000% wieder und bedanken uns aus ganzem Herzen für diese tolle Zeit! Bis sehr bald
We have had a fantastic time at Albrecht’s place celebrating a birthday with 3 generations. It was beautifully furnished with lots of loving and charming touches, very well equipped, and comfortable to sit and enjoy evenings of family games.
Simply fantastic! It was exactly what we were looking for… a nice and quiet getaway during an extended weekend holiday. The entire place has recently gone through a renovation and it is very well outfitted. In all honesty, it is one of the nicer AirBnB’s we’ve ever stayed in. I HIGHLY recommend it!! We had an amazing stay! My wife and I said we’ll definitely return on an upcoming long weekend as a nice getaway. The place was superb! Many thanks!!

Wir hatten fünf wunderbare und herrlich erholsame Tage auf dem Schellnhof. Wir haben uns mit zwei Parteien dort für eine drei-Generationen-Familienzusammenkunft mit insgesamt 12 Personen (6 Eltern, 6 „Kinder“ zwischen 11 und 20) für 5 Nächte aufgehalten. Wir können den Schellnhof nur empfehlen!
